Overview
ABACM were engaged by Canberra Muslin Community to construct a prayer hall with mezzanine, carpark, concrete slab for classroom and wet areas and an external stair case.

The new Mosque in Canberra’s north will serve between 5,000 and 6,000 members of the Islamic Community and will be able to serve more members in the future, when classrooms and additional spaces are added to the build.

The project was community funded and therefore ABACM were required to pay particular attention to the budget and save costs where possible, while still providing high quality work. The works were also staged to accommodate incoming funds.
